Black and White

Hello my fellow readers,

It’s been a while since I have sat down behind this familiar computer screen, typed in the website name, opened my blog, and have begun typing, however, just like every other time, it feels fantastic to be back. The past few weeks have been insane-college finals, work, after-school activities, and personal issues have been engulfing my time and attention. Yet, now that all the chaos is over, I am returning to the blog with a better attitude, more optimistic perspective, and much more inspiration. If you have been following the blog for a while, you know I only aim to share positive content, which is why if I am stressed or frustrated, I attempt to stay away from the blog. Yes, writing is my therapy, but therapeudic writing is done in journals. But, now that everything is back to the optimistic curve, I am happy to share a little series of heart-warming photos that were shot a couple of weeks ago with my friends.

It is the holiday season, which means that there are more opportunities for you to share beautiful moments with your loved ones. Although the holiday season does signify the sharing of beautifully-wrapped gifts, it is not always the case. Sometimes, all one can do to make their holiday season special is to be with the people they feel happiest with. In my case, besides my parents, it is the two out of my several friends-Vanessa and Denise.

If you have been following the blog for a while, you have already been acquainted with them-Vanessa is my beloved photographer, and Denise is my blue-eyed love, who sometimes makes Snapchat (@fashion_caption) videos for the behind-the-scenes content. Therefore, our little creative selves decided to wander around the Battery Park area of New York City, which later turned into a coffee-hunting trip because of the cold air keeping us in a chilly company. However, our little meet-up ended up being the most uplifting, warm hangout, with us sipping apple ciders and lattes, and many polaroid photos being taken all at once. Oh friends, how they can make the days go by, especially when you’re having fun.

This holiday season, I wish you, ladies and gentlemen, to spend your festivities with the right people, because no gift could ever change your mood for as long as the people who surround you can. The “right” people will make your days go by with a smile on your face, zero negativity, and plenty of moments that won’t just be captured on camera, but will also freeze in your mind. The right people influence your attitude, and if you feel as if you are not in the holiday spirit this season, just always remember to connect with those who you know for sure will bring you joy and plenty of smile lines.
